The problem
A health student juggles a dozen tools: lecture PDFs, student notes, a calendar, a grades spreadsheet, flashcard apps, MCQ banks. None of them talk to each other, and organising eats the time we should spend learning. I built each of these tools for myself; MedStudy Flow brings them together for everyone.
What the app does
- Lecture management: PDF import, automatic sorting by module and session
- Smart schedule: revisions place themselves according to spaced repetition and exam dates
- MCQs and flashcards generated from the lectures, for active practice instead of rereading
- Today’s to-do: what needs doing today, nothing more
- Gamification: points, levels and rewards to keep going over time
- Partly local AI, so it doesn’t depend on the cloud all the time
- Dashboard: progress per module, workload, weak spots
Why I’m the right person
I’m the target user. My DFGSM2 revision system, my enhanced HTML study sheets and my organisation spreadsheet are MedStudy Flow’s prototypes: I use them every day and I know what really works during a year of medical school.
The venture
- Application for the national student-entrepreneur status (PEPITE), with a pitch to the jury in October 2026
- Market research and user segmentation
- A ten-month roadmap to a first testable version, with two developers
- Subscription business model
Launch strategy
Rather than waiting for the full app, ship one module first, the revision planner, to test demand with real users. The lecture-to-video generator could become a second module.
Less time organising, more time understanding.
